This
large three-room suite on the main floor is
decorated in vintage style.
| Your
private parlor boasts a 10 foot ceiling, with
ceiling medallion and crystal chandelier. It also
contains the home's original tiled, coal-burning fireplace which may be lit with candles
for a romantic evening. The crimson velvet
Victorian fainting couch adds the final touch to fine furnishings.

want to enjoy the comfortable
leather wingback chairs for reading a magazine
or for
reading one of our classic novels by Dickens or Thoreau.
A Queen Anne writing desk is also in
the
room for those who need space for working.

Your
bedchamber is separated from the
parlor by
the home's original pocket doors .
A
queen sized, four-poster wooden bed with gold
leaf accents and carvings in the Federal Style is the
centerpiece
of the room. Guests will find a sweet treat on their
pillow each night.
This
bedroom has a private television with satellite access. We
provide the popcorn and hot chocolate for those who just want to spend
a relaxing time " in". We invite guests to
search dresser drawers for
memorabilia of the past. |

Adjoining
the bedroom is a private bath
with a tub
/shower combination. A blow dryer is provided for our
guests' convenience. |
| As an added bonus, Federal suite guests have complete private access
to the main dining room and kitchen during
afternoon and evening hours. Amenities include a
fridge,
range, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, glassware, and silverware.
Breakfast
is served to all our guests in the main dining room during
morning
hours, but after breakfast, it again becomes a
private area
to Federal Suite guests only.

This suite also has
a cozy balcony, complete with a small bistro set.
It overlooks
a little backyard
flower garden in which robins and squirrels actively go about their
business.
The balcony is a great place to relax with that first cup of morning
coffee or evening beverage. |
