The 5-room Federal Suite has a private ground level entry, elegant parlor, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, and bath. A small outdoor sitting area is located on the back balcony. Tiffany-type light fixtures and a 1878 era pump organ, complete with turn of the century sheet music grace the entry. High ceilings, plank floors, transom windows, and original coal fireplace are all pleasant reminders of days gone by. We provide off street parking in the front drive or located in back of the Bed & Breakfast. The parlor features a crystal chandelier, a Victorian velvet covered fainting couch, leather wing chairs, period side tables, and an original tiled, coal-burning fireplace. The parlor also has a desk, which with high speed internet is a plus for business travel. Original pocket doors separate the parlor from the bedchamber, which features a four-poster queen size bed in the Federal style with gold-leafed carvings of pineapples and shells. A large, matching chest-of-drawers and dresser are ideal for those who are planning to stay a few days. The bedroom has Dish TV with VCR/DVD player. The bath has both bathtub and shower and has been decorated in period motif as well. The dining room, with crystal chandelier and Federal style dining set in cherry wood, is the perfect place for an elegant breakfast, complete with chamber music, china, crystal, and silver. Full breakfasts will begin with fruit; followed by coffee cake, muffins, or sweet breads. The main entree will be a hearty meal composed of individual guest preferences as shown in our menu. Breakfast Time: Between 6:00 - 10:00 A.M.
